The GW IoT GXM 241 Gateway is a robust industrial device designed for remote monitoring, control, and data acquisition from multiple field equipments over 4G/LTE cellular networks. Acting as a Modbus RTU Master, it communicates with multiple Modbus slave devices at a single site and transmits structured JSON data to cloud or central monitoring servers using IoT protocols such as MQTT, HTTP, and FTP. In addition to serial communication, the gateway integrates 7 onboard I/Os—4 Digital Inputs, 2 Analog Inputs, and 1 Digital Outputs—enabling direct monitoring and remote operation of field signals and actuators. Designed for industrial panel installation, the gateway operates on a wide 12V DC power supply, ensuring reliable performance in demanding industrial environments.

RIO241 is used to monitor field inputs and control outputs through Modbusinterface. It acts as a Modbus RTU slave and updates status of Analog andDigital inputs in predefined Modbus registers. Digital outputs of RIO241 can becontrolled through Modbus registers.
